“Daniel makes working out simple and fun!”

The best thing I enjoy about training with Daniel is I just show up and he puts me to work. I do not have to think about what to do, I just follow his instructions. He makes working out simple and fun along with teaching me the "why" of what exercises I'm doing and the benefits. The education he shares adds to the enjoyment of training with him.

not only am I seeing muscles I hadn’t seen in years, I’m seeing muscles I didn’t know I even had!

As I turned 60, it became increasingly difficult to do simple tasks, such as climbing stairs and lifting. I wanted to increase my mobility and flexibility and have better balance and more stamina. Daniel developed a personalized workout regimen to help me improve in these areas without aggravating the arthritis in my knees. I have been working out with Daniel for five months and not only am I seeing muscles I hadn’t seen in years, I’m seeing muscles I didn’t know I even had. I am amazed at the results I have achieved and I also have measurable results in inches and pounds. I would recommend One Body Training to anyone who wants to improve their physical well-being.

My objective while training with Billy Grimm has been to greatly improve my grappling skill, especially in regard to my proficiency on the ground. Having been involved in the martial arts for many years, I have trained in a variety of systems which included many great instructors. Mr. Grimm is among the best, as he is meticulous in his attention to detail, and a master at effectively transferring the required information to the student. After four months of training, I have made more meaningful progress in Brazilian jiu-jitsu than I did at any time in the past. This is due not only to Mr. Grimm’s expert instruction, but also to the effectiveness of the well thought out Gracie Combatives program.

“She is truly a lifesaver.”

First thing I want to say about Katie is she is the most absolutely caring person I know. She is truly a lifesaver. Hands down the best trainer I know. She really knows how to read her clients and works with you to see how you work best and then provides a great plan, lots of encouragement and is flexible to the situation, whatever it may be. During the time my husband and I were clients of hers, he ended up in the hospital with acute pancreatitis due to a blockage, this lead to a few hospital visits, a couple procedures and many doctors visits. As soon as Katie learned what was happening, she was on it, looking up the possible causes, helping with diet and exercise based on my husband's new needs and just a caring ear when I was afraid. She became a friend during that time and by far exceeded all my expectations of a trainer. Because of Katie's patience and help along the way my husband continues working out and being well. As for me, I saw my body begin to transform, sadly I have not worked out in 6 months. I am beyond excited to see Katie is training again, she is the only person I would ever have as my trainer. Thank you to Katie for always being about your clients and their needs, you are the best!

Her sessions were always different so I never got bored...”

I worked with Katie for almost a year and greatly enjoyed my time with her! She was my first personal trainer and she was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I felt comfortable trying new things and did not feel silly if I didn’t do them right the first time. She was always challenging me and pushing me to perform at my best. Her sessions were always different so I never got bored and she always checked in to make sure I understood what we were doing and why. Katie helped me work towards my health and fitness goals and improve my balance, flexibility, and strength in my ankles, shoulders, and knees. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a personal trainer!

Working with One Body Training has been awesome!  The combination of strength and flexibility training has me feeling like I’m in my 20’s again, maybe even better! I fully expect this training to allow me to age in a way that will keep me active and healthy to a ripe old age.

I tend to do things one step at a time, going slowly and building up as I go. It may take me a while to get there, but I will get there eventually! I was in the worst shape of my life in November of 2016. The heaviest I’ve ever been, completely sedentary and a pack-a-day smoker. I knew I had to change so I went to the doctor to see how bad it was and to get help to stop smoking. It was bad. High cholesterol and really, really high Blood Pressure. I got put on BP meds and told to stop smoking so I did. Once I had about 6 months of being smoke free under my belt, I knew I needed to start working out and get heart healthy. I couldn’t bear to work out in front of other people just yet and I really needed help knowing what to do and how to get started. Kim was awesome in helping me start and understanding that the nutrition/healthy eating part of my journey was just as important as the working out part of my journey. I like to tell Kim that I would never, ever do to myself what she puts me through every week and it’s true. She really pushes me to my limits and it’s awesome! So now, it’s been about 8 months in and I started to change my diet and focus on working out more outside of my weekly training and it has gone phenomenally well. I even talked my husband into joining me weekly. I am down about 25 lbs, my cholesterol is firmly in the healthy range and I’m about to be taken off my BP meds. I can go up multiple flights of stairs without breaking a sweat and I am 18 months cigarette free. Life is good and Kim has been with me every step of the way. Thank you!
